Common Troubleshooting Steps

Seeing a specific written error message on a screen? (For example "Failed to load..." followed by technical wording.) Skip the steps below -- they won't help. That's a bug on our side: message us the exact error text or a screenshot via ? Help > Live Chat, and we can usually fix it without you reinstalling or updating anything.Photos blank or missing, but items still load? A VPN, ad blocker, or content filter is very likely blocking image downloads. Turn it off and pull down to refresh -- the photos usually reappear right away, and they were safe in the cloud the whole time. See Why is my data not syncing? for details.

For anything else, try these steps in order:

  1. Check your internet connection -- Flippd syncs data to the cloud and needs connectivity

  2. Force close and reopen the app -- This clears temporary state and restarts the connection:

  1. Update the app -- Make sure you're on the latest version. Many issues are fixed in updates

  2. Sign out and back in -- Go to Settings (gear icon, top right), then tap Sign Out, then sign back in

How to Check Your App Version

Recently Resolved Issues

"Failed to load review session" Error on the Review Matches Screen

Fixed: 2026-08-19 (server-side fix, no app update required) Affected: All platforms (iOS, Android, Web)What happened: Opening the Review matches screen after a marketplace import failed with an error like "Failed to load review session: type 'String' is not a subtype of type 'num?'". This happened when a suggested match involved an inventory item whose price was stored in an older format.Resolution: Fixed server-side -- go back to the Review matches screen and tap Retry, and it will load. Your import review was saved the whole time; no items were lost. No reinstall, sign-out, or update is needed.

If you still see this error, try these steps:

  1. Force close and reopen the app

  1. Sign out and sign back in -- Go to Settings (gear icon, top right) > Sign Out, then sign back in
