eBay owns your listing data; Flippd owns your business data. The sync only ever writes listing fields onto linked items — everything you track privately in Flippd is off-limits.
What Sync Updates on a Linked Item
Title and photos
List price and quantity
SKU — set from the eBay Custom label whenever the listing has one, on every sync. If you keep your own SKUs in Flippd, put the same value in the listing's Custom label on eBay, or leave the Custom label empty so your SKU is left alone.
Status changes (Listed → Sold, or Listed → Unlisted when a listing ends) with the sale date
Sale amount — taken from the real eBay order, plus actual selling fees and shipping label costs for recent sales and everything going forward (see How much eBay history does Flippd import?)
The eBay listing link itself, and eBay is added to the item's list of platforms

Description — eBay listing descriptions don't come across, and yours are never blanked
If an eBay listing is missing a value (for example, a fetch hiccup returns no photos), the sync keeps your existing value rather than blanking it.
Status Protections
When an eBay listing ends without a sale, the sync marks the item Unlisted — unless the item is already Sold, is still listed on another platform, or is Donated or Scratch. Those are never downgraded by a sync. If an eBay order behind a synced sale is fully cancelled, the sync reverts the sale and clears the sale amount, fees, and shipping cost it had written.
Good to Know
The sync is one-way: Flippd reads from eBay and never creates, edits, or ends listings in your eBay store.
On synced eBay sales, the fee and shipping-cost fields are kept in line with eBay's actual records, so a manual edit to those two fields will be corrected back on a later sync. If a synced fee looks wrong, contact support from the ? Help icon in the header instead.
Changes the sync makes to title, price, quantity, status, SKU, and sale amount are recorded in the item's Change History > Integrations tab. Photo refreshes, the listed date, and the eBay listing link are applied silently.
eBay is the source of truth for the listing fields above: a value you edit in Flippd on a linked item (title, list price, quantity, photos, SKU) is brought back in line with eBay on the next sync. Keep those edits on eBay, or unlink the item first.
Flippd checks eBay every 30 minutes and does a full refresh once a day; quiet stores are checked less often. You can Force sync now from the eBay screen.
You control ongoing syncing from the integration's settings. Turning all three toggles off (new listings, price changes, sales changes) pauses background syncing for that connection. Individually, the toggles control which live eBay notifications are applied the moment they arrive; the daily full refresh still keeps linked items in line with eBay.
