Your inventory is your business — costs, profits, and tax records included. Here's exactly how we protect it.
Encrypted, everywhere
All data travels between your device and our servers over encrypted connections (TLS), and everything is encrypted at rest in the cloud.
Backed up daily — and off-site
Your data is backed up automatically every day, with over three months of restore points, and the database can be rewound to any minute within the past seven days. Every week, full copies — photos included — are also stored in a separate, isolated environment that our production systems can't modify or delete, so even a worst-case failure of the main system can't touch the backups.
Built on Google Cloud
Flippd runs on Google Cloud and Firebase — infrastructure that is independently audited and maintains certifications including ISO 27001 and SOC 1/2/3. We inherit the same physical and network security that protects Google's own products.
Your account, your data only
Every record is scoped to your account, and that isolation is enforced on the server with security rules — not just in the app. Sign in with Apple, Google, or email; you stay in control of your session on every device.
We never ask for marketplace passwords
Marketplace connections (like eBay) use the platform's official sign-in (OAuth) — you authorize Flippd on the marketplace's own site, we never see your password, and you can revoke access at any time from either side.
We never see your card number
Subscriptions are processed by Apple, Google, or Stripe — payment networks built for exactly this. Full card numbers never touch Flippd's servers.
No ads. Never sold.
Flippd is funded by subscriptions, not by your data. We don't sell your data and we don't run ads. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
No lock-in. Ever.
Your data is yours. Export your full inventory, sales, expenses, and mileage whenever you want, as standard files you can open in any spreadsheet — no support ticket, no waiting period. Your business records never depend on Flippd: they're always one export away from being entirely in your hands. And if you leave, delete your account — and the data with it — directly from the app.
