Vinted Fees Explained
Seller Fee: £0
Vinted takes no commission, listing fee or payment processing cut from private sellers. If an item sells for £25, £25 lands in your Vinted balance.
Buyer Protection Fee (Paid by the Buyer)
Vinted makes its money from buyers. Every order adds a Buyer Protection fee, a fixed amount plus a percentage of the price that varies by country and order. It is added at checkout and never comes out of your payout.
Optional: Bumps and Promotions
Bumps and wardrobe promotions are the only costs a seller can add. They are paid up front whether or not the item sells, so they are worth tracking against the sales they bring in.
Tips to Maximize Your Vinted Profit
Factor In What Buyers Actually Pay
Buyers see your price plus Buyer Protection plus postage. A £20 listing costs them noticeably more, so price with the total in mind, especially on low-value items.
Offer Bundle Discounts
Bundles save buyers a second Buyer Protection fee and a second postage charge, which makes them easy to say yes to. Moving three items in one order beats three slow single sales.
Know Your Profit, Not Just Your Payout
No fees doesn't mean pure profit. Track what you paid for each item and what you spend on bumps and packaging, so you know which stock is actually worth buying again.
